About Crowded House
A combination of Australian and New Zealander musicians with an American producer, Mitchell Froom (husband of Suzanne Vega), helped Crowded House create a sound that was both alternative Australian rock and American pop-rock sounding, soon enough helping them reach the number two spot on the singles chart in the US with Don't Dream It's Over, their debut single release.
